About Mama Jinny

I grew up in the north east of Thailand in the Chaiyapum region. At the age of 16, I went to the cooking academy in Khonkan, which is close to my hometown. I moved to Bangkok when I was 20 and, having worked hard, opened my own Thai restaurant. I ran my restaurant for seven years before moving to England.

I have always been interested in cooking and love everything to do with food so much. It makes me feel extremely proud when people enjoy my cooking.

I began my business after having friends around for a meal, I never found the time to sit down and talk and enjoy their company. I was so busy in the kitchen that it was not until the following day I finally had time to relax!

My personal favourite dish?
Thai Papaya Salad because there are so many wonderful flavours in this single dish.
